Your first visit will involve a comprehensive clinical examination covering the teeth, jawbones, muscles, and temporomandibular joints. We’ll also take intra- and extra-oral photographs, radiographs, dental impressions, and discuss potential treatment options. This consultation is crucial for evaluating the need for orthodontic treatment and determining the optimal time to begin. 

Diagnostic Records  

These records include impressions of your dental arches and meticulous recordings of your bite and jaw movements. These procedures are essential for creating plaster models of your dental arches using an articulator device. This device can mimic the movements of your temporomandibular joints, allowing us to analyze the functional relationship between your teeth and jaw joints. This diagnostic setup helps identify any dental or joint occlusion issues. Additionally, if necessary, we may recommend more advanced radiological examinations such as CBCT or MRI scans during this stage. 

Diagnosis Presentation and Treatment Planning 

This session will be conducted separately. During this appointment, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive clinical diagnosis of your orthodontic issues and present a detailed treatment plan. For complex cases, this plan may involve consultations and procedures with specialists from other disciplines within our team. You’ll receive a written summary outlining the findings, proposed treatment, and an estimate of associated costs.
